About this position

The Sales Engineer role in the Motor Vehicle Industry focuses on increasing sales and market share, developing relationships with key accounts, and providing market analysis to support business growth.

Responsibilities

• Increase territory sales and market share in the assigned area and to provide assistance in the other area when required by the Team Leader.
• Develop and enhance good working relationships with all key accounts in the area, potential customers as well as internal colleagues in order to grow the business in the region.
• Maintain up-to-date records of customer’s correspondences and contacts using the systems provided.
• Analyze and provide timely, accurate market information to the Team Leader Division, such as pricing situations and the status of competitive activities and products, relative to the success of marking strategies and programs for the territory

Requirements

• A degree-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or experience in selling Atlas Copco Products/related products for at least 2 years.
• Analytical techniques and computer literacy.
• Good presentation skills and communication skills in Bahasa and able to speak English.
• Good administrative and personal discipline to handle multi-task, time-constrained activities, driven by customer requirements.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self-starter and motivator with a committed approach to meeting the goals of the division.
• Driver’s license.
• Knowledge of Atlas Copco range of products is preferred.
