Senior English Copywriter
About this position
The Senior English Copywriter will drive the creative process for campaigns, develop persuasive copy across various channels, and create engaging scripts for visual media.
Responsibilities
• Drive the creative process for campaigns by crafting impactful big ideas, key messages, campaign names, and compelling narrative rationales.
• Create visually engaging and persuasive decks to present campaign concepts.
• Develop persuasive and tailored copy for various channels, including advertisements, social media posts, digital banners, print flyers, packaging, push notifications, and WhatsApp broadcasts, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand tone.
• Write engaging scripts for video advertisements, television commercials, and social media content, capturing attention and conveying brand messages effectively across all visual media platforms.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business or any relevant field.
• Excellent copywriting and editing skills (in English), with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong verbal communication skill to communicate ideas/opinions to ensure a seamless cross-functional collaboration across teams.
• Critical thinker with great problem solving skills.
• Min. 3-5 years experience of producing direct copy to customers from creative advertising agencies, lifestyle or e-commerce background.
• Have copywriting skills for ads, concept ideation for 360 campaign (ATL/BTL/DIgital), and script/storytelling development.
• An ability to write creative copy both for large pieces of content (e.g. product descriptions) and smaller texts (e.g. usp labels) for packaging design.
• Attention to the accuracy of highly detailed information.
• Up to date with current trend conversation.
