About this position

The Hub Senior Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the hub, ensuring customer delivery targets are met, and continuously improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day operations of our hub, ensuring that our aggressive customer delivery SLA targets are met and orders are fulfilled accurately
• Plan your team's weekly shift schedule, accounting for potential order spikes and activities which require additional manpower
• Submit daily/weekly/monthly attendance, output, and stock reports as requested by management
• Work closely with the Hub Operations Manager and our Operations Excellence team to continuously improve on our processes across all Astro Hub
• Daily stock check and cycle counts to maintain 100% stock accuracy and SLoc Accuracy
• Daily quality control (fresh and perishable goods) to make sure our customers receive the highest quality produce
• Conduct a review of the Inbound process
• Apply continuous improvement initiatives to drive process, compliance, on-time completion, within budget, documented results.

Requirements

• Two years of managerial level experience, ideally within commerce logistics or warehousing.
• Plans, directs, controls, implements, evaluates, monitors, operational matrix, customer SLA, and cost of the HUB department to achieve business performance.
• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures; identifies opportunities for improvement which will improve day-to-day operations.
• Leads coordination and integration of efforts among departments to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes.
• Analyze and provide insights on the operating performance of each function, develop recommendations and provide analytical support for internal projects/initiatives.
• Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with strategic partners focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
