Franchise Lead – Vaccines and Immune Therapy
About this position
As the Franchise Lead for Vaccines and Immune Therapy (V&IT), you will oversee a dynamic team responsible for sales, marketing, and key account management within the V&IT franchise. This pivotal role involves driving sales targets, managing costs, and fostering team development.
Responsibilities
Sales and Marketing Management:
• Lead the sales team to consistently meet or exceed sales targets and achieve key performance indicators.
• Provide guidance and coaching to the brand manager in developing, implementing, and evaluating brand strategies.
• Ensure efficient allocation of resources and effective cost management.
• Spearhead the launch excellence for the new V&IT pipeline by collaborating cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure comprehensive communication on disease and vaccine awareness.
Team Management:
• Coach and drive the team's performance while effectively managing their ongoing development.
• Inspire, motivate, and communicate effectively to ensure alignment and unity within the team.
• Facilitate discussions on individual development plans, skills enhancement, and career advancement opportunities.
Key Account Management:
• Provide coaching to key account managers on their working plans, the development of partnership programs, and ensure the delivery of results as planned.
Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to all regulations governing interactions with healthcare professionals, public communications, and other relevant areas.
Requirements
Essential Skills/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or science with a master’s degree in MBA.
• More than 10 years of sales or marketing experience in Pharmaceutical or Ethical channel.
• Strong leadership with interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrate creativity, initiative, and a winning attitude.
• Understanding of vaccination journey and practice patterns.
• Previous experiences in vaccines or new product launches or digital/social media marketing is a plus.
