Product Manager
About this position
In this position, you will be an integral part of driving the future growth for ASSA ABLOY Thailand by ensuring we continue to be at the forefront of door hardware and access products in the Thailand market. You will own and drive the process of optimizing our product offering and releasing new products to the market to ensure our product scope is successfully viable. The position constitutes a great platform for further career development as it will mean a high impact and high visibility role with regular interaction with key members of sales management teams, supply chain and regional South East Asia teams.
Responsibilities
• Product life cycle and portfolio management. Analysis of product portfolio, suggest new product development / improvement, discontinued products.
• Manage new product launch process from start including consumer insight, Go-to-Market strategies, product launch and after launch tracking
• Research and analyse consumer’s insight by identifying needs
• Monitor competitor activity and industry trends
• Liaison with factories and South East Asia teams and be the sole touch point for new product development, product quality, focused products, cost improvement projects.
• Be the go-to person for product related information
• Product pricing management – new product pricing, price adjustment, etc.
• Other ad-hoc assignments related to product marketing.
Requirements
• Master or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Marketing or any related fields.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Good team player, logical thinker, outgoing, detail-minded, highly organized, and flexible.
• Having project planning skill, ownership skill, and people convincing skill
• High passion to win in the market with product strategies.
