Key Account Sales Manager (Modern Trade)
About this position
The Key Account Sales Manager (Modern Trade) is responsible for managing key account customers, leading the sales team, and developing sales strategies to achieve company goals.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate with Key Account customers, focusing on Modern trade to achieve company’s budget in terms of sales volume and margin.
• Manage, supervise and lead Key Account Sales team, which includes all store merchandisers (Professional Consultant).
• Develop, implement and review annual sales budget and sales plan & strategies of above mentioned channel.
• Expand customer base in this channel and maintain good relationship with key accounts.
• Ensure that merchandisers have good product knowledge and selling skill at all time, by conducting proper and regular training.
• Ensure subordinates are provided with all necessary tools and knowledge to achieve their goal, including catalogue, sample and other resources.
• Generate sales report, sales forecast, and other report upon supervisor’s request.
• Gather and update all market information, including competitors’ movement. Analyse and report and propose alternatives to management concerning market situation.
• Ensure that the company have received collection from customer in a good credit manner.
• Coordinate with relevant internal functions and ensure that all quality system and procedure are followed, including Best Practice.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong selling and negotiation skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Service-minded with a positive attitude.
• Ability to build and maintain good relationships with customers and departments.
• Goal-oriented with the ability to plan and achieve targets and KPIs.
• Proficient in computer literacy.
• Minimum 5-year experience in Modern Trade sales.
• Must have own car and valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the country.
• Construction knowledge is an advantage.
