Assistant Business Development Manager (Retail & Franchisee)
About this position
The job holder is responsible for leading E-Business sales performance in the direct channel for Thailand including development of Yale Smart shops and e-commerce flagship stores. This role is crucial in leading growth for the direct channel in the market.
Responsibilities
• Yale Direct channel responsible for Thailand market accountable to deliver monthly, quarterly and yearly program results for shop expansion and performance.
• Oversee and establish clear direction for generating pipeline of Franchisees (Store Operators) to manage and run Yale Smart Shops in the market.
• Develops marketing and sales approach for reaching, attracting and closing Franchisees to own and run a Yale Smart Shop. Able to engage local partners, organizations and networks to help in identifying, recruiting and closing Franchisee prospects.
• Leading scouting and qualifying of locations for placement of Yale Smart shops.
• Lead new retail store development and launch programs including managing store setup, training and launch logistics.
• Manage portfolio of stores regularly reviewing sales and key performance metrics. Work with franchisees and store managers to improve performance.
• Drive e-commerce sales in the Yale Smart shops (as all transactions take place on e-commerce platform) and help to optimize the offline to online customer experience.
• Know and own the market by conducting market analysis, VOC and competitive analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities for the business.
• Align and ensure that results are shared with ASEAN and APAC team and activities consistent with Yale brand and divisional approach.
• Create an operational rhythm to measure strategy execution and results against targets, and to keep initiatives on track.
• Support and ensure compliance with state regulations, ASSA ABLOY policies, procedures and the code of conduct.
Requirements
• Educated to degree level in a relevant field such as Sales or Marketing.
• +5 years of experience in sales and/or marketing focused on sales programs.
• Experience in setting up, managing or working in physical shops.
• Leadership ability with strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• The successful candidate will be willing to travel as part of this role, primarily within the country.
• Experience with e-commerce, digital and smart products or related categories.
• Experience in recruiting franchisees, store managers and/or sales people.
