Due to the Asia and Oceania region’s fast growth and diverse market and Honda focused on localizing its operations to be closer to customers the company appointed Asian Honda Motor its Asia and Oceania Regional Headquarters in 2004, with responsibility for coordinating Honda's activities in 12 countries and supporting Honda's operations in several additional countries within the region.
About this position
The Legal and Intellectual Property Officer is responsible for executing counterfeit activities, promoting corporate governance, ensuring legal compliance, and providing legal consultancy to the company's business units.
Responsibilities
• Execution of Counterfeit Activities
• Promote company’s Corporate Governance and internal control system
• Promote legal compliance system in company (i.e. PDPA, competition law)
• Contract review and drafting in English and Thai
• Providing legal consultant to company’s business units
• Liaise with external lawyer for company’s legal dispute
• Complete other tasks as may reasonably be requested.
Requirements
• Proficiency in English communication
• 2-3 year or more experienced as in-house corporate lawyer
• Having experiences in anti-counterfeit activities, contract drafting, corporate governance, internal control is advantageous.
