As one of the world’s largest pulp and paper companies, Asia Pulp and Paper Group (APP) is responsible for delivering quality products to meet the growing global demand for tissue, packaging and paper. On any given day, our products find their way into the hands of consumers in various branded forms from all over the world. Started in 1972 with Tjiwi Kimia producing caustic soda, now we run operations across Indonesia and China with an annual combined pulp, paper, packaging product and converting capacity of over 19 million tons per annum. Today, APP markets its products in more than 120 countries across six continents. Over the years, we have expanded our operations significantly through the acquisition and expansion of several of our pulp and paper mills. About this position

The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for ensuring that the brands, services, and product lines resonate with current and potential customers, while developing and executing marketing initiatives under the supervision of the Head of Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that the brands, services and product lines resonate with current and potential customers within their respective domains
• Supervised by Head of Marketing, serving as the point-person for developing, implementing and executing marketing initiatives and activities for distinctive brands of the company
• Analyze brand market positioning and define insights of target customers
• Develop brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies
• Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates
• Measuring and reporting performance for all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
• Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues

Requirements

• Bachelors/Master degree from reputable university
• At least 8 years experience as Brand Manager in FMCG industries
• Able to identify target audiences and devise campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
• Able to communicate & discuss with Sales team about market conditions
• Possess strong drive for results and good leaderships skills
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Exceptional research and analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
• Creativity and innovation
