STRATEGIC SOURCING ENGINEER/วิศวกรจัดหา/จัดซื้อ/จัดจ้าง
About this position
Responsibilities
• Analyze supplier base and identify key suppliers.
• Define the strategy for sourcing engineers.
• Search and negotiate the component/raw material with suppliers.
• Define key supplier panel for each product type.
• Negotiate the offers for existing parts (Price, MOQ, payment term, rebate programs, VMI, buffer stocks).
• Implement and maintain advanced supplier evaluation system.
• Define the purchasing strategy of all electronic components and PCB.
• Perform advanced supplier evaluation, communicate with supplier for continuous improvement. Implement a supplier relationship management.
• Source new suppliers.
• Suggest equivalents/alternative parts in order to have more competitive prices.
• Quarterly business review, provide regular cost down and improve TCO for raw material.
• Provide material cost for new projects.
• Get the best price for each item of the commodity.
• Challenge supplier with detailed analysis.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from Business management, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of Sourcing function in multinational and manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge or experience in Electronics or Mechanics is preferred.
• Knowledge of main ERPs.
• Abilities in statistical techniques.
• Strong with negotiation skills, Creative, Flexible, Discreet and Strong analytical.
• Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Good data analysis skills are mandatory.
• In depth knowledge of contracts, invoicing and negotiation terms.
• Good interpersonal skill and the ability to support/lead and collaborate with a team.
• Able to communicate in both Thai and English. (Other languages are an advantage)
