About this position

Artelia Engineering (Thailand) Co., LTD. is seeking a Project Manager with an industrial background to oversee various aspects of project management, including planning, execution, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project scoping and feasibility studies, detail design, tendering, construction management to assess project requirements, objectives, and constraints.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with Project director / Design manager / Design director and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials and resources.
• Establish project milestones and monitor progress to ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Work closely with design engineers, architects, and regulatory authorities to obtain necessary approvals and permits for construction activities.
• Monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure that project objectives are met within the agreed-upon timeframe and budget.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met.
• Possess an in-depth understanding of engineering and construction practices, relevant codes and standards, and the equipment and materials involved in Oil & Gas, industrial projects.
• Ensure that all work is carried out safely and in compliance with local regulations and company policies and promote a culture of safety on the project site.
• Monitor project costs and implement measures to control spending. Develop and manage project budgets and financial forecasts.
• Good Communicate skill with stakeholders, team members, and management to provide project updates, discuss issues and concerns, and ensure that everyone is informed and up-to-date on project progress.
• Ensure that all work meets project high quality standards and is completed to the satisfaction of the client.
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Day-to-day management of the site.
• Review the project daily to ensure that the work is being done as it should be.
• Reviews site safety plan and job safety analysis following safety objectives, carry safety inspections during construction.
• Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as specifications.
• Overseeing quality control.
• Preparing construction document such as monthly reports, construction schedule, snag list, etc.
• Lead technical meetings such as providing technical clarifications, conducting safety assessments, reviewing 3D models, clarifying vendor requirements, reviewing cost estimations, conducting value engineering assessments, and overseeing design reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in Industrial, Oil & gas, F&B, Pharmaceutical for Project Management / engineering.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Design engineering for industrial project is an advantage.
