IT Support Technician
About this position
The IT Support Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various IT systems and providing support to end-users in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and peripherals.
• Respond to IT support requests in person, via phone, email, or ticketing system in a timely manner.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
• Collaborate with IT team members to ensure smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT equipment and systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and manuals for IT processes and procedures.
• Assist in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives as needed.
• Provide technical training and support to end-users as required.
• Performs other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time that support Company and team objectives.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking principles.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, VPNs, and remote desktop support tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications would be advantageous.
• Good command of English both spoken and written.
