The Contract Counsel will give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics. In addition, the Contract Counsel safeguards the organization’s reputation by guaranteeing that the company strictly follows regulatory guidelines and provide legal advice to management about all relevant issues.
Responsibilities
• Provide advice and guidance to management on all contractual related issues​
• Ensure that executives understand the legal terminology and implications written in business agreements (MSA, NDA, partnership, purchase order etc.)​
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, statutory regulations and other formalities​
• Draft legal agreements with external parties, including vendors or partners that ARISE will be having a commercial relationship with​
• Point of contact and act as a supervising counsel that manages relationships with external legal counsel​
Requirements
• 5+ years experience working at a top-tiered law firms with experience in Thailand corporate law​
• Working experience in Tech companies would be advantages.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university​
• Experience in contract and IP law, with some experience working in financial services​
• Excellent business acumen and ability to demonstrate sound legal judgment while drafting commercial agreements​
• Understand principle-based negotiation strategy and tactics including the ability to present alternatives with proposed solutions​
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
