Assistant Director of Sales (Bogor)
About this position
The Assistant Director of Sales is responsible for setting sales objectives, soliciting business, planning sales calls, monitoring market conditions, managing sales teams, and ensuring professional execution of sales activities.
Responsibilities
• Set the objectives for sales personnel and assists them in identifying and developing the marketing tools to achieve these objectives.
• Solicit business for the hotel to achieve room-night and revenue targets.
• Plan sales calls to key markets for sales personnel, then submit to the Director of Sales & Marketing the reports on the outcome of these calls, the revenue projections, and follow-up activities to achieve the targets.
• Monitor and submit regular and concise reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing on changing market conditions, trends, and the competitors current and planned activities and how these impact the hotel.
• Manage, evaluate and constantly motivate Sales Managers to achieve sales revenue targets.
• Ensure all site inspections / familiarizations are conducted professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure sales calls, telephone solicitations and direct mail programs are completed professionally and on schedule.
• Organize and report outcome of participation in trade shows and promotions.
• Forward guest, client or general public suggestions for hotel improvement to the Director of Sales & Marketing. Maintain files on these suggestions.
• Responsible for the timely generation of production reports on all accounts.
• Ensure that rate structures are accurately observed and that no changes occur without the express approval of the Director of Sales & Marketing and the General Manager.
• Represent the Director of Sales & Marketing when required.
• Complete other tasks that may be assigned by Management.
Requirements
• Min. Diploma Degree
• Experienced in similar position for min. 2 years
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong Leadership
• Able to maintain a high level of performance
• Familiar with Corporate or Government Segment
• Have a good experience in MICE
