Arçelik Hitachi Home Appliances was established as a joint venture between Arçelik A.Ş. and Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc to manufacture, sell and provide after-sales services of Hitachi branded home appliances including refrigerators, washing machines, vacuum cleaners globally (outside of the Japanese market). Arçelik (a multinational household appliances manufacturer that employs over 40,000 people worldwide and operates in 48 countries, and 28 production facilities in 9 countries with 12 brands such as Beko and Grundig) acquired 60% ownership in the new company while Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc. continues as a 40% shareholder of the company. Operationally based in Bangkok, Thailand, Arçelik Hitachi Home Appliances has two manufacturing and nine sales companies in APAC&ME region. Through this joint venture, both companies have combined their expertise in other key areas such as R&D, procurement and production systems to optimize the joint venture's global supply chain and strengthen its competitive positioning in the market.

About this position

Arçelik Hitachi Home Appliances is a joint venture focused on manufacturing, selling, and providing after-sales services for Hitachi branded home appliances globally, with a strong operational base in Bangkok, Thailand.

Responsibilities

• Developing strong product line strategy and market development plan.
• Managing portfolio strategy and range proliferation with healthy financial growth.
• Reviewing competitive environment, consumer insight, and relevant standard context across the region for each responsible product line.
• Driving key project development and coordinate function plan by working closely with management team.
• Supporting marketing to lock up launch and quarterly business review.
• Developing and communicating product plan with effective collaboration with sales and product training team.
• Developing business foresight for consumer and macro trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of experiences in related field.
• Knowledge of product strategic planning, portfolio & range management.
• Preference Experienced from Home appliance products.
• Attention to detail in sales and marketing analysis.
• Knowledge of identifying segmentation, USP, brand & product value proposition.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
• Thinking broadly about business.
• Understanding needs of the market & customer.
• Having desire to do outstanding jobs.
