Arçelik Hitachi Home Appliances was established as a joint venture between Arçelik A.Ş. and Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc to manufacture, sell and provide after-sales services of Hitachi branded home appliances including refrigerators, washing machines, vacuum cleaners globally (outside of the Japanese market). Arçelik (a multinational household appliances manufacturer that employs over 40,000 people worldwide and operates in 48 countries, and 28 production facilities in 9 countries with 12 brands such as Beko and Grundig) acquired 60% ownership in the new company while Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc. continues as a 40% shareholder of the company. Operationally based in Bangkok, Thailand, Arçelik Hitachi Home Appliances has two manufacturing and nine sales companies in APAC&ME region. Through this joint venture, both companies have combined their expertise in other key areas such as R&D, procurement and production systems to optimize the joint venture's global supply chain and strengthen its competitive positioning in the market.

About this position

Arçelik Hitachi Home Appliances is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to strengthen its competitive positioning in the home appliance market in the APAC & ME region, particularly in Thailand.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives, analyze market trends to enhance competitive people management & practices (especially in Learning & Development and Talent Management)
• Collaborate with management team on talent acquisition, talent retention and learning & development
• Assist management team in designing and developing HROD strategies based on company’s strategies, plan and implement HROD tasks to drive organizational transformation
• Lead in designing and planning training and development (training & development plan, IDP career path, succession plan) according to the needs of the business unit to increase the capabilities and competitiveness of employees
• Manage end-to-end talent acquisition process for full-cycle recruiting, talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interview and hire employees
• Deploy HR projects from Global or HQ to local sites including leading projects end-to-end, involving in talent acquisition, talent review, learning & development and others
• Analyze key data and present to management for strategic review and provide proper solutions to management and team
• Offer expert consultation on labor laws and best practices, fostering positive employee relations and a motivating work environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, Management or other related fields
• 5 years’ experience in HRM/ HRD/ HRBP or similar roles
• Experience in HRD is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Deep understanding of business strategy with the ability to align HR initiatives accordingly
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence senior management
• Good leadership and people management skills
