Using the most advanced technologies, the new facility is geared up to produce a complete range of high-standard automotive parts and accessories for its growing clientele around the globe.

About this position

The Sr. Process Quality Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control processes to ensure that products meet customer expectations and relevant quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that processes and products meet customer expectations and relevant quality standards.
• Daily report analyzes and implements actions to minimize defects, scrap, and rework in the production.
• Investigate process non-conformances and work with cross-functional teams to determine root causes using problem-solving tools and 8D report.
• Develop and maintain quality assurance standards to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Develop, implement, and track corrective action, preventive action to address process issues and prevent recurrence quality issues.
• Perform the Layered Process Audits regularly verify product and process quality performance.
• Lead customer complaints and collaborate with cross functional to investigations and provide 8D report.
• Provide technical guidance and training to the production operator on quality control protocols and procedures.
• Qualify operator inspector regularly to ensure that capable of the quality inspection method correctly using the MSA tools.
• Provide training to production staff on quality standards, inspection procedures, and process improvements.
• Involved with suppliers’ development department to ensure that incoming materials meet required quality standards and collaborate on resolving quality issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering field, experience in the automotive industry, and knowledge of quality systems such as ISO/TS 16949 and VDA would be advantage.
• Certified Six Sigma Black belt would be very advantage.
• Required direct experience in Quality Engineering.
• Strong root cause analysis, problem-solving and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience of core tools and statistical software (e.g., SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, Control Plan, Minitab).
• Focus on tracking process variables data of defect, rework, scrap rate.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead quality initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
