About this position

The New Product & New Model Engineer is responsible for planning and launching new products, ensuring manufacturing feasibility, and supporting production processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and launch new product within time plan
• Assists in the fabrication, inspection and refinement of 'Off Tool Sample' and pilot build prior to authorizing full production
• Ensure the concepts take into account the manufacturing facility available and standardization and design for manufacturing is practiced
• Prepare standard document for operation such as BOM (Bill of Material), Drawing, PSFO (Process Sheet for Operation), and WI (Work Instruction)
• Ensure adequate feedback provide to ARB
• Control ECN (Engineering Change Notice) and implement to production line
• Support production line and improve manufacturing process
• Control and keep record of production equipment such as Jig, checking Fixture, special tools and etc
• Looking for opportunity to cost saving for company
• To comply and support company policy and activates
• Carry out special assignments and projects upon request of the Engineering Manager
• Jig and fixture design for new product launching Design Jig and Fixture
• Setup Bill of Material (BOM) and Costing for new product prepare BOM

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineer or related fields
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in factory in engineering field
• Experience in production control / process improvement
• Capable to use solid work drawing package
• Can use Microsoft office package very well
• Have knowledge of Design Engineer
• Knowledge of problem solving and root cause analysis
• Salve management and be able to work under pressure
• Ability to communication in English
• Creative skill and understanding in ISO 9001
