IT Application Support
About this position
The IT Application Support role is responsible for ensuring the availability and smooth operation of business applications and providing technical support to end-users.
Responsibilities
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for key APRIL's business applications including but not limited to Salesforce, Web Portals, API’s and backend business systems.
• Perform daily health checks and monitor application performance to identify and resolve potential or running issues.
• Assist in the testing of new features and bug fixes in collaboration with the applications and development teams.
• Document technical procedures and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base for IT processes.
• Execute scripts for quick fixes and ad-hoc tasks as required.
• Support end-users with technical issues related to applications, ensuring a smooth onboarding and offboarding experience.
Requirements
• Degree in Computing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• 1-2 years of experience in IT support, particularly in end-user support and application troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Python and Power Automate an advantage.
• Good understanding of Microsoft SQL queries a big plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English. Able to communicate in French is highly desirable.
