About this position

We are seeking a Finance Operations Manager to join our dynamic Finance Team. You will be responsible for providing operational financial leadership and direction to the finance organization, managing a team of 6 staff, and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the claims payments for the region and all of the accompanying tasks to ensure a smooth process:
• Ensure the relevant policy data is shared with our partners.
• Ensure the reconciliation of all claims bank accounts is done in a timely manner.
• Ensure the back-end system is updated daily with the relevant claims details.
• Work with our partners to onboard their claim payment processes.
• Continuously seek to propose and implement process improvements that will enhance the finance team's work.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:
• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present insightful financial analysis and reports to senior management for the Assistance Business Unit and the Thailand Operations.
• Develop and monitor key financial metrics and KPIs to measure the financial performance of the Assistance Business Unit and the Thailand Operations.
• Provide financial guidance and support to business units to drive profitability and growth.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Maintain and update the cash flow forecast for the Thai entities and the Assistance Business Unit.
• Assist the FP&A Manager with the forecasting and reporting of the expenses in the Thai entities and the Assistance Business Unit.

Treasury Management:
• Supervise the administration of treasury and bank payments, including maintaining liaison with banks.
• Direct responsibility for the collection of outstanding receivables, working with the Sales team to address any potential issues.

Internal Control and Compliance:
• Develop a robust system of internal control and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
• Manage the external audit process and prepare statutory financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely preparation and submission of all relevant returns.

Team Management:
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals to ensure high performance and engagement.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the finance team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in finance operations management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
