About this position
Responsibilities
• Manage and coordinate case management processes to ensure timely progress and resolution of cases.
• Close cases efficiently within reasonable timeframes, taking into consideration the urgency and complexity of each situation.
• Leverage creative and innovative approaches to develop action plans for complex cases, relying on intuition, reflex and experience to guide decision-making.
• Adapt action plans proactively to align with evolving circumstances and patient needs.
• Identify and assign appropriate team members to tasks based on their skills and expertise, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Implement agreed-upon strategies to achieve cost savings while enhancing the overall customer experience.
• Ensure the medical appropriateness of treatment plans through adherence to evidence based- medicine.
• Recognize situations where this is necessary to collaboratively challenge a provider and articulate effective communication strategies.
• Define innovative cost containment actions for each case to tackle the medical inflation and fight against abuse and over prescription.
• Motivate and animate team members from different teams to achieve collective objectives, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
• Escalate cases as needed, offering detailed information and actionable suggestions for effective handling.
• Collaborate closely with the Regional Head of Medical to execute strategies and objectives.
Requirements
• Medical degree in any specialty.
• Previous experience in insurance or assistance sector would be a plus.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills to manage multiples cases effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to navigate complex clinical scenarios.
• Creative thinking to develop innovative solutions for case management challenges.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and lead by example.
• Capacity to work independently and take the initiative with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English is required.
