About this position

The Project and Supply Procurement Supervisor is responsible for managing procurement processes, supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFQs (Requests for Quotation), VAs/VEs, and evaluate cost selections.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, both domestically and internationally.
• Summarize purchase orders.
• Negotiate deviations from standards (technical and commercial) with suppliers.
• Periodically review supplier performance.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams and liaise with users to periodically review technical standards and the supply chain of specific product ranges, aiming at cost reductions.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and conditions to meet target agreements and reduce costs.
• Enhance procurement efficiency through supplier development and evaluation.
• Build and maintain relationships with Group Company procurement and users.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure a reliable supply chain.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and supplier opportunities.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or related fields.
• At least 5 years of working experience in project procurement.
• Willing to frequently visit suppliers.
• Able to efficiently coordinate with both external and internal parties.
• Good English communication skills.
