School Counsellor (Kindergarten & Primary)
About this position
The School Counsellor (Kindergarten & Primary) is responsible for providing support and guidance to students, helping them navigate their educational and emotional challenges.
Responsibilities
• Provide individual and group counselling to students.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student development.
• Organise and facilitate workshops on social-emotional learning.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies for students in need.
• Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions and student progress.
• Participate in school meetings and contribute to the overall school community.
Requirements
• A Bachelor's degree in Counselling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with students across various age groups.
• Previous experience in an international school setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong ability to work effectively under pressure and manage stress in a dynamic environment.
• Competence in organising workshops and delivering presentations to large groups of students, parents and staff.
• Available to start in January 2025.
