About this position

The School Counsellor (Kindergarten & Primary) is responsible for providing support and guidance to students, helping them navigate their educational and emotional challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counselling to students
• Develop and implement programs to support students' social and emotional well-being
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to address students' needs
• Conduct workshops and presentations for students and parents
• Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions and student progress
• Participate in school events and activities
• Stay updated on best practices in school counselling

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Counselling and Psychology
• At least 2 years of experience working with students of all ages
• Experience in an international school will be an advantage
• Fluent in English
• Ability to deal with stress and work under pressure
• Ability to make presentations to large groups of students and parents
• Able to start in October/November 2024
