The Presales Engineer will collaborate with sales teams to design customized EV charging and solar energy solutions, engage with clients, prepare technical documentation, and stay informed about industry trends.
Responsibilities
âĒ Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and design tailored EV charging and solar energy solutions.
âĒ Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and system sizing calculations for solar energy systems and EV charging infrastructure.
âĒ Provide technical specifications, product recommendations, and system architecture for both EV and solar solutions.
âĒ Serve as the technical expert in meeting with prospective clients, delivering presentations on the benefits, capabilities and technical of EV and Solar Solution.
âĒ Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including project managers, engineers, and consultants.
âĒ Prepare high-quality technical proposals, including system design, energy calculations, technical specifications, and cost estimations.
âĒ Create and review project documentation such as quotations, drawings, and reports.
âĒ Assist in the preparation of RFP (Request for Proposal) and RFQ (Request for Quotation) responses, ensuring technical accuracy.
âĒ Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements in the EV and solar industries.
Requirements
âĒ Bachelor's degree in Engineer or a related field.
âĒ Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, including PV system design, inverters, batteries, and energy storage solutions.
âĒ Strong understanding of energy consumption, load analysis, and system sizing for solar power generation and EV charging.
âĒ Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
âĒ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
âĒ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
