Presales Engineer
About this position
Responsibilities
• Solution Design & Customization
• Collaborate with sales teams and clients to understand requirements and design tailored EV charging and solar energy solutions.
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and system sizing calculations for solar energy systems and EV charging infrastructure.
• Provide technical specifications, product recommendations, and system architecture for both EV and solar solutions.
• Client Engagement & Consultation
• Serve as the technical expert in meeting with prospective clients, delivering presentations on the benefits, capabilities and technical of EV and Solar Solution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including project managers, engineers, and consultants.
• Technical Documentation & Proposals
• Prepare high-quality technical proposals, including system design, energy calculations, technical specifications, and cost estimations.
• Create and review project documentation such as quotations, drawings, and reports.
• Assist in the preparation of RFP (Request for Proposal) and RFQ (Request for Quotation) responses, ensuring technical accuracy.
• Product & Market Knowledge
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements in the EV and solar industries.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineer or a related field
• Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, including PV system design, inverters, batteries, and energy storage solutions.
• Strong understanding of energy consumption, load analysis, and system sizing for solar power generation and EV charging.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
