Visual Merchandiser (1-Year Contract)
About this position
The Visual Merchandiser will be responsible for creating brand identity and designing artwork for standalone shops, implementing eye-catching displays, and ensuring high-quality visual merchandising standards are maintained.
Responsibilities
• Create brand identity and design artwork for each standalone shop (e.g. display material, printed advertisement, brochure, layout, etc.)
• Plan and implement eye catching displays in line with best practice visual merchandising
• Change displays to promote new product launch and reflect festive or seasonal themes
• Liaise with suppliers and source element to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality
• Liaise with team to create design themes and plans, often months in advance, including window and in-store displays and signage
• Visit stores on a regular basis to ensure that the visual merchandising standards are maintained and train sales members in-store regarding for visual merchandising concepts to maximize business performance
• Set up and maintain in-store merchandising of the category, implement the received guidelines and design inputs, based on sales trends, market peculiarities, and customer target
• Keep abreast with industry, market trends, and best practices
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, graphic designer, visual merchandising or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in visual merchandiser, preferably within cosmetics or fashion industry
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator and Adobe software
• Good communication, presentation, initiative, and problem-solving skills
• Strong time management
• Good verbal and written English communication
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Extremely detail orientated with a focus on achieving clear and concise content
• Flexible and well organized with sense of priorities
