About this position
Responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
• Oversee the monthly financial close process, ensuring accurate recording of all incurred costs. Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and prepare comprehensive financial reports.
• Ensure timely delivery of monthly reports and analyses related to Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Conduct monthly reviews of intercompany reconciliations, fixed asset registers, and other reconciliation reports.
• Manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, general ledger, treasury, compliance, and taxes.
• Act as the primary liaison with other departments to ensure transactions are recorded under the correct account codes and cost centers.
• Adhere to accounting standards and company procedures, ensuring an efficient, compliant, and robust internal control system.
• Verify payments and monitor working capital, cash flow, banking facilities, and credit control processes to mitigate business risks in line with corporate policy.
• Ensure timely preparation, review, and submission of taxation reports including VAT, withholding tax filings, tax return packages, and corporate income tax filings.
• Participate in the development and establishment of accounting policies, procedures, and operational strategies. Focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
• Assist in liaising with bankers, the Revenue Department, auditors, and other professionals to ensure compliance with taxation matters and successful audit results.

• Perform regular and ad hoc reporting tasks as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.
Requirements
Your ideal profile: Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in accounting.
