About this position

The Purchasing Officer is responsible for identifying and selecting external vendors, negotiating prices, ensuring compliance with operational systems, and maintaining supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify and select appropriate external vendors to request quotations and conduct bidding.
• Compare and negotiate prices with external vendors to obtain the best price and terms for purchase approval by the supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with operational systems and conditions.
• Prepare quotations, conduct initial negotiations, provide information to partners for pricing, and create price comparison tables.
• Review and analyze materials and pricing conditions from each vendor to ensure consistency, and prepare agreements and other related documents.
• Procure and hire according to the company's needs and within the specified timeframe.
• Monitor and ensure that suppliers deliver according to the plan and schedule.
• Negotiate prices with suppliers.
• Responsible for preparing purchase orders (PO) with complete and accurate supporting documents, and follow up on PO approval.
• Prepare payment documents to forward to the accounting department according to the system.
• Maintain and update the supplier database.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in any field.
• Minimum of 1 year in experience in procurement, real estate development, or related businesses.
• Possess a good personality, strong interpersonal skills, and effective communication abilities.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs.
• Experienced in using ERP systems.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to maintain good relationships with vendors.
• Able to work quickly while maintaining standards and demonstrating commitment to the job.
• Capable of working according to company policies, adaptable to changes, and able to handle pressure.
• Able to work off-site, such as at construction sites.
