About this position
The Foreman is responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans, safety measures, and quality standards while coordinating with contractors and managing site organization.
Responsibilities
• Ensure work is carried out according to the construction plan.
• Inspect the installation of temporary equipment at the site.
• Supervise, coordinate, and liaise with project contractors.
• Monitor safety measures in project operations.
• Coordinate with contractors on the use of company tools and machinery.
• Ensure compliance with the project’s quality plan.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the construction site and worker camps.
• Control worker access to and from the project area.
• Prepare daily reports in the company’s designated system.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
Requirements
• At least a vocational diploma (High Vocational Certificate) in Construction or a bachelor's degree in engineering (B.Eng.) or related fields.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in construction projects.
• Possess strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate with contractors.
• Demonstrate meticulousness.
