About this position

Alstom is seeking a VATC Work Package Lead to join their innovative and inclusive team, working on cutting-edge mobility solutions. The role involves developing and integrating ATC On-Board Systems, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to deliver Automatic Train Control (ATC) and Vehicle Integration Engineering work. The scope of the work package includes the design, installation, and test of electrical interfaces between ATC system and the vehicle. Quality, Cost and Delivery commitments
• He/she is the direct technical interface with the customer for ATC Engineering
• Provides ATC functional and architecture specification, ATC detailed design and ATC configuration. Provides corrections during and until customer acceptance.

Requirements

• Take on a new challenge and apply your on-board systems expertise in a new cutting-edge field
• Develop and integrate a fully functional ATC On-Board System Description & Installation Proposal, noticing the differences with standard solution applying the specific rules and requirements for the project, establishing its hardware/software configuration and application data features
• Work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management, rams), develop the interfacing with the rest of systems of the project (TRAIN/TCMS/ /MVB/ATP/ATO/ETH) and with T&C team until the commission of the whole system and much more
• Liaise with the RAM, Safety and/or V&V for a correct communication of the design requirements and decisions to be assessed, tested or demonstrated
