About this position

The main responsibility of this role is to manage the material planning documents for both internal and external suppliers and to follow up the whole delivery process until the material is well-received, ensuring accurate maintenance of material data and timely delivery based on Alstom needs.

Responsibilities

Customer Service Support
Support the team to provide the best customer service. Works well in-group and problem solving situations, for all the activities explained below:
• Validate Purchase Requisitions, create, and manage Purchase Orders for customers in timely manner and in compliance to Alstom’s standard procedure.
• Receive, process, and respond to customer enquiries and request for quotations.
• Set up prices for Sales Orders based on better judgment and finance guidelines and provide discount if aligned with sales strategy.
• Create Sales Orders and confirm the orders to the customers.
• Interface with suppliers to follow up delivery for each shipment. Tracking each delivery to ensure the shipment contains correct material and amount and shipment delivered on time.
• Receive, process, and monitor proactively the orders until Customer payment.
• Ensure accuracy and validity of Customer database.
• Issue invoices to customers, investigate, and solve invoice issues.
• Create analytics or ad-hoc reports/dashboard as per request from the Nordics Supply Chain or Procurement team.

Tools / Automation / Digital Innovation
• Implement Process Digitization Tools - Artificial intelligence, Power BI and MS Power Platforms
• Translate business requirements to digital solutions
• Provide data-driven advice to business

Developing oneself and Moderate the team
• Be representative of the GBC in delivering the support to the assigned customers
• Develop professionalism by learning business practices in Procurement and Supply Chain
• Develop working knowledge on processes and tools
• Get exposure to the D&IS organization
• Apply practical problem-solving skill to manage problems within scope of work and related tasks as requested

Requirements

Education
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, Arts, Humanity, Financial, Economics or any related field

Relevant Experience Required
• 2-3 years of solid experience
