Head of Business Development (Real Estate & Site Expansion) - Consumer Retail
About this position
Responsibilities
• Lead the development and execution of the company's expansion strategy.
• Identify, evaluate, and secure new store locations that align with the brand's target market and business objectives.
• Oversee site selection, lease negotiation, and due diligence processes.
• Manage all aspects of property development and construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
• Develop and implement operational procedures for new stores, including staffing, training, and inventory management.
• Ensure that all new stores are launched successfully and meet the company's standards for quality and customer experience.
• Manage the renovation and refurbishment of existing stores to maintain brand consistency and enhance customer appeal.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, developers, and other key stakeholders.
• Report directly to the COO and provide regular updates on progress and performance.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in retail operations, property development, or a similar role.
• Proven track record of successfully launching new stores and managing expansion projects.
• Strong understanding of the retail landscape and F&B industry.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
