About this position

We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join our high-growth portfolio company as Head of Business. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to lead business operations, drive revenue growth, manage profit and loss (P&L), and spearhead the incubation of new products in the dynamic crypto or stock trading sectors.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new product opportunities in the cryptocurrency or stock trading space.
• Lead the ideation, development, and market launch of cutting-edge financial products.
• Cultivate a culture of innovation and collaboration to ensure excellence in product development.
• Develop and execute robust strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Explore and implement new business models and diversified revenue streams.
• Monitor industry trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics to adapt strategies and seize emerging opportunities.
• Oversee financial performance, ensuring profitability and resource efficiency.
• Create and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans that align with strategic goals.
• Analyze financial data to make informed decisions that optimize operational efficiency.
• Define, articulate, and execute a strategic product roadmap aligned with business objectives and market demands.
• Partner with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
• Use market research, user feedback, and competitive insights to prioritize product features and improvements.
• Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
• Set clear performance objectives, conduct regular evaluations, and support professional development.
• Ensure effective collaboration across all organizational levels to drive alignment and success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive experience in business development, product management, and P&L oversight, ideally within the cryptocurrency, stock trading, or fintech sectors.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and expanding businesses in overseas markets, particularly in China, India, or APAC regions.
• Demonstrated success in incubating and launching market-leading products.
• Deep knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, or stock trading ecosystems.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership capabilities with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Thrive in high-paced environments, managing multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on results.
