About this position
Account Receivable Team Leader will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest, and owner expectations. The Account Receivable Team Leader is responsible to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the accounting functions within the Accounting Department, preparing, and reviewing customer billings, and interfacing the billing files into systems.
Responsibilities
• Assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards.
• Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the accounting functions within the Accounting Department.
• Prepare and review customer billings.
• Interface the billing files into systems.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable in the hospitality industry, preferably in a five-star hotel environment, is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Fluent in English, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Micros) and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to handle client relationships effectively.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
