About this position

The Project & Sales Engineer is responsible for managing customer projects to ensure contract fulfillment, while also leveraging strategic sales acumen to identify opportunities, build client relationships, and drive successful deals.

Responsibilities

• Develop, communicate, and execute operational plans for project completion.
• Monitor progress, ensuring adherence to project plans, and proactively control costs to prevent deviations.
• Take decisive action to resolve operational issues promptly, minimizing delays in project timelines.
• Identify, develop, and procure necessary resources for project completion.
• Collaborate with other operational areas to secure specialized resources and contributions.
• Select and oversee activities of external contractors, ensuring seamless integration into the project and maintaining high standards of service.
• Supervise on-site project activities, participating in commissioning and start-up processes alongside internal or external service engineers.
• Manage troubleshooting efforts during the warranty period, ensuring efficient resolution of issues.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential sales opportunities and trends.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients, understanding their needs and proposing solutions.
• Develop compelling proposals tailored to client requirements.
• Deliver engaging sales presentations to showcase the organization's capabilities and offerings.
• Engage in negotiation processes and successfully close sales deals.
• Provide regular reports on sales activities, achievements, and challenges to the management team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 2 - 5 years’ project and sales management experience in similar industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
