About this position

Ajaib Quality Engineering is seeking a Quality Engineer who is passionate about quality and user experience in fintech. The role emphasizes integrating quality throughout the development process and involves collaboration with engineers and product visionaries.

Responsibilities

• Empower the Team, Elevate Quality: You'll be the go-to person for creating and evolving the testing frameworks and automation that lets our devs build with confidence. We're talking robust, scalable systems that make writing tests easier than skipping them altogether. Think of it as creating the tools that power quality
• Own the Big Picture: We're looking for someone who thrives on seeing the whole picture. You'll oversee our end-to-end testing, making sure everything works together flawlessly across different parts of the system. No siloed thinking here - you'll be preventing issues before they even reach our users
• Build the Future of Fintech: You'll work hand-in-hand with brilliant engineers and product visionaries to build the future of fintech. Think collaborative test planning, digging into code, and proactively tackling risks. Your work will directly impact how millions experience the future of finance

Requirements

• A Code Craftsman: You're a skilled coder who sees development as an art form. Your passion for elegant solutions shows in your meticulous attention to detail. You have a knack for testing methodologies and take strong ownership of your work, treating each project like a masterpiece
• A Quality Advocate: You're that person who catches the tiniest details and can't stand to see anything less than perfect. You understand that quality is everything and won't let anything slip through the cracks
• A Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and love brainstorming with developers and product managers. You understand that building a quality product is a team effort
• An Innovation Junkie: You're not content with the status quo. You're always pushing boundaries, exploring new technologies, and thinking outside the box. You thrive on the challenge of venturing beyond your comfort zone, keeping your skills razor-sharp and your solutions cutting-edge
• At least 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer
• Experience with QA automation tools (WebDriverIO, Cypress, Katalon, Robot framework, etc)
• You know your way around tools like Postman and DB Beaver
• You're comfortable with shell commands
• Git/version control system is your friend
• Experience with project management tools like JIRA and Asana
• You can analyze product specs, create killer test cases, and keep everything organized
• You can communicate complex ideas clearly - both in writing and in person
• You've got hands-on experience testing Android and iOS apps, Web portals, and REST APIs
