Sales Executive (Bangkok Area)
About this position
The Sales Executive will act as a representative of AirAsia in the Bangkok area, focusing on achieving sales targets and expanding business opportunities through various sales channels.
Responsibilities
• Act as a sales representative of AirAsia to take care of the Bangkok area (Bangkok, and nearby)
• Achieve sales target growth by area/location for all S&D (Sales & Distribution) products, including Sky Agent, GoGov, Mycorp, and Group as per target set and growth.
• Represent and advise all AirAsia booking channels (online & offline – Sky Agent, GoGov, MyCorp, and Group) to travel agents and partners
• Organize sales visits for potential customers and always expand to new business
• Assist and give appropriate guidance to local Sales Officers on sales direction
• Maintain relationships with local partners and travel agents by providing support, information, and guidance or recommending new opportunities
• Enhance staff accomplishments and competence by delivering solutions, answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members, and mentoring team members.
• Build up relationships with local partners and travel agents to ensure on-sales performance return
• Update local market sentiment and competitors' information, be able to finalize and find sales action plan & sales campaign to compete
• Handle work as on a new assignment or special project (Travel Fair, Roadshow, Seminar, Familiarization trip, new products implementation, new business module, etc.)
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 1-3 years of sales experience.
• Background in travel agent sales, airline business, or tourism is a plus
• Understanding a responsible and environmental local area or having a hometown there will be an advantage.
• Working based at the Bangkok office (Don Mueang Int. Airport) but the marketing areas are upcountry (Non-Bangkok or nearby)
• Excellent communication in Thai & English, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Hardworking, multitasking, service-minded, and responsible.
• Familiar with doing analytical and data reports.
• Having a driving license (having a car is ok but not required).
• Able to travel for business purposes in the upcountry as required or planning.
