About this position

The Legal Counsel will be responsible for overseeing the legal aspects of the company's operations, ensuring compliance, and providing legal support to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the legal aspects of the day-to-day operation of the and overall legal compliance of the Company
• Act as the first legal inhouse counsel touchpoint, liaise and create an association of trust and respect with key internal stakeholders
• Oversee the execution phase of contracts and provisions of legal instruments and corporate documents to be performed Legal Admin
• Assist Legal Counsel on all legal matters related to company business i.e. giving legal advice to internal and commercial teams and ad-hoc project
• Draft and review various agreements and legal documents, support day-to-day direction strategy and legal advice to the business on dispute resolution issues impacting the company’s operations
• Monitor and update laws and regulations relevant to the business
• Work with the local team and the regional team
• Conduct legal research and assist other counsels as delegated
• Perform any other legal or administrative tasks as assigned or directed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Law or equivalent in a relevant field is preferred
• At least 3 - 5 years of experience in working as a Legal Counsel or related fields in dynamic working places Strong legal knowledge and technical fluency
• Experience in corporate commercial-related fields would fit perfectly
• Having good knowledge of contract law, the aviation industry, and the technology industry.
• Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure
• Flexible and speedster and fast thinker – able to solve problems on the go and adapt quickly
• Excellent in English Communication both written and verbal
• A team player, willing to multitask where additional help is required and communicate well with the team members
• High attention to detail
