About this position

The Battery Parts Engineer is responsible for quality training, quality assurance, and managing quality issues of battery parts. They also evaluate supplier performance and oversee component changes in battery fields.

Responsibilities

• Participate in quality training activities for battery parts
• Conduct QAS activities to ensure quality standards and process stability
• Manage PPAP for new parts and related documentation
• Manage quality issues in factory and market, and follow up on resolutions
• Evaluate quality and performance regularly, and monitor supplier performance
• Consult suppliers on quality maintenance and improvement
• Inspect component changes in battery fields and verify design accuracy
• Verify engineering changes by suppliers off-site to ensure process and product quality

Requirements

• Fundamental knowledge in quality management
• Theoretical knowledge, ability to read component drawings, statistical analysis skills, and other related knowledge
• Good communication skills and ability to communicate with suppliers
• Analytical and problemsolving skills, ability to work well in a team
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to principles
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in automotive, mechanical, materials, or related fields
