About this position

The Structure Field Engineer is responsible for overseeing engineering activities, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a positive working environment while coordinating with various stakeholders in the project.

Responsibilities

• Prepares method statement, working instruction, work package within area of responsibility
• Responds on engineering activities such as review drawing/shop drawing, cutting plan, Site query, Redline drawing and Site instruction, including clarification and coordination with customer and/or subcontractor's engineering.
• Updates material top up/shortage list and ordering, including monitoring material utilization and reconciliation.
• Monitoring, expediting and coordinating all activities within areas of responsibility. Ensure that all deliverables are completed on time, in accordance with the project schedules.
• Responsible for reporting work progress in WinFab/Report system.
• Reports envisaged critical activities, which might have an effect on project execution to discipline manager.
• Implementation of quality standard and ensure that the work is done to the specified quality.
• Ensure HSE activities within area of responsibility are carried out.
• Prepares and maintains a positive working environment for the members.
• Inputs to endorsement report within defined area of responsibility.
• Implements, maintains and feedbacks to W3 (project procedures & work instructions) required within areas of responsibility for continue improvement.
• Responsible for interface with other disciplines in project organizational.
• Complies with project strategies and philosophies.
• Give input to the PQP (Project Quality Plan).

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Civil or Mechanical or Structure Engineer or related field.
• 4 - 6 years of experiences in Structure fabrication & installation work in Onshore / Offshore Oil & Gas or related industry
• Good command of English in both speaking and writing.
• Knowledge of international Codes and Standards such as: DNV and NORSOK and other which related to structure work.
• Be familiar with structure standard handbook, Structure work instruction and knowledge lifting work.
• Competence in MS office, Microstation, AutoCAD, Sketch up, Navis work and others.
