About this position

The Senior Process Engineer will provide support on a Petrochemical Revamp Project, ensuring compliance with technical documents and standards while supervising team members and managing process engineering activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and report to Lead Process Engineer on a Petrochemical Revamp Project.
• Ensure all technical documents and data prepared and structured in accordance with the relevant client specifications, design codes, standards, regulations and procedures.
• Review and provide technical inputs on process engineering related technical matters to interfacing disciplines, in coordination with the Lead Process Engineer.
• Check and verify process engineering activities and deliverables in line with the technical and quality plan.
• Identify project scope or design changes or other issues that could adversely affect project cost or schedule, promptly to the Lead Process Engineer.
• Provide supervision and support to team members, particularly less experienced personnel, as needed.
• Carry out and prepare process activities and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical / petroleum engineering or equivalent engineering specialization.
• At least 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including a minimum of 2 years in petrochemical revamp projects.
• Must have previous experience in detailed engineering for brownfield and revamp projects within the petrochemical or oil & gas sectors.
• Excellent at developing typical process engineering activities and deliverables, particularly as outlined in the aforementioned position overview for the Senior Process Engineer.
• Must have a strong background in process engineering design concepts.
• Well-versed in process simulation tools, especially HYSYS, Flare System Analyzer, PIPENET, and HTRI.
• Well-familiar with international codes and Standards such as API, ASME, and others relevant to process engineering work.
• Must possess excellent technical communication skills, both verbal and written in English, with a proven ability to present technical issues to design teams, clients, technical authorities, and verification bodies.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels.
