About this position

The IT Manager is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient delivery of local IT operational services, aligning with global IT processes and standards, while managing regional strategic initiatives and collaborating with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the delivery of local IT operational services is both effective and efficient, meeting agreed-upon service levels and adhering to global IT processes, in cooperation with the global IT operations manager.
• Develop and manage regional strategic endeavours that align with the overarching IT strategy, ensuring the implementation of Aibel's standards and best practices is implemented locally.
• Work in partnership with Corporate IT to implement global IT solutions across Aibel, ensuring that local services are in alignment with international standards.
• Collaborate and liaise with all non-IT departments to ensure that the IT services delivered add value to our business initiatives and customer/client.
• Oversee and optimize the use of the annual IT budget (CAPEX and OPEX) for cost-effective management.
• Assist Local / international tender bidding team regarding IT clarification issues for new prospects.
• Oversee and provide direction and guidance to local service providers to ensure performance according to SLA, achievement of business objectives and compliance with all internal control procedures, Heath Safety Environment and Code of Conduct.
• Collaborate on Information and Cybersecurity initiatives at the local level with the IT Security & Risk manager at Aibel.

Requirements

• Master or bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or any related fields.
• 10-15 years’ proven experience in IT technical operations, IT infrastructure, IT Network and communication systems.
• Creativity, good problem solving, interpersonal communication skill.
• Result oriented. Able to work with a minimum supervision.
• Leader with motivational management style and reputation for building and retaining highly motivated IT teams.
• Proficiency in English, interpersonal and possess solid communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge in SAP Basis, FD,MM and PM will be an advantage.
• Background in business analyst, project management, IT security and service support will be an advantage.
• Understanding of IT control framework e.g. ITIL / COBIT5 is a plus.
