About this position

The Senior Control & Instrument Engineer will be responsible for the preparation of technical specifications, leading bid evaluations, and managing a project team to ensure timely deliverables in the field of control and instrumentation engineering.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of technical specifications for DCS and instrumentation equipment
• Undertaking bid evaluations and leading technical negotiations prior to award of equipment supply contracts
• Preparation of design documents including control and operation philosophy documents, functional logic diagrams and power plant process descriptions as well as instrumentation diagram design such as connection and loop diagrams.
• Handling all engineering and detailed design issues related to C&I activities.
• Leading project team of C&I engineers and CAD operators to produce deliverables on time.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical or Instrument Engineering.
• 7-10 years of experience in design and engineering of control and instrumentation
• Proven experience in an EPC or EPCM environment undertaking preparation of tender specifications, preparation of plant control and operation philosophies, bid evaluations, vendor drawing review as well proven ability in detailed engineering.
• Good overall knowledge of thermal power plants (CCGT, Biomass/Waste) including their systems and processes.
• Good overall knowledge of renewable power plants including their systems and processes.
• Good command of English and excellent communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work in a multinational project team.
