Sr. Scheduler, Master
About this position
The Sr. Scheduler, Master is responsible for planning, directing, and monitoring materials planning and inventory control activities to ensure smooth production operations and meet customer demands.
Responsibilities
• Plans, directs, monitors materials planning & requirement, inventory control, storage, shipping, and receiving activities for multiple demand sources, production, service, engineering, re-manufacturing, other OEM’s for current and future operations.
• Assist in implementing systematic solutions to control inventory flow, minimize shortages, and maintain accuracy in MRP system.
• Coordinate with Continuous improvement department to get production capacity and productivity to support production plan.
• Manage production capacity, daily & monthly, for smooth production with no impact.
• Communicate with Internal customer for any problems with production plan, customer demand, production output and emergency plan that related to material.
• Communicate with external customer for any issue that related with customer.
• Participate customer order demand reviewed. If there’s any problem and/or over capacity need report to Material Manager or Supervisor.
• Manage and generate monthly production plan and support for demand.
• Responsible and manage DOH of finished production to avoid any shortage for customer and alignment with department / Company goals.
• Develop a production planning system and release key information to related functions for advance readiness on each operation process.
• Feedback to customer timely basis for any required details or any explanation in order details.
• Direct report daily production planning status or Issue to Materials Manager Day by day.
• Ensure that the working environment exceeds occupational health and safety requirements.
• Prepare data to support monthly meeting with suppliers to inform customer situation portion.
• Collect and Prepare Suppliers Monthly Meeting Presentation Material and set up schedule of meeting.
• To involve & engage in Safety Activity and initiative: AMS, CCRM, safety week, 5S, HSE training, wear proper PPE.
• Review all change: process, lay out, new material before implement, new machine.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in business management or any field equivalent (Material and Logistics is preferred).
• Minimum 5 years Material Management (MM), Production Planning (PP) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) and have fully knowledge of MPS, MRP.
