Product Owner, Concur
About this position
Within Accor Tech, the product owner is responsible for the full life cycle of the expenses, request, invoice and travel tool, CONCUR from a financial solution standpoint. This includes the full life cycle of the application, run and build - whether these are handled in-house or outsourced.
The product owner is bridging the gap between business needs and technical functionalities
Responsibilities
RUN
• Maintain core solution, ensuring they meet internal control standards and compliance requirements.
• Backlog
• Oversee hosting and manage functional and technical third-party providers
• Manage third-party contracts, support and licenses linked to the software strategy
• Improved and further refined, priorities reassessed, and the backlog must be kept current and up to date.
• Ensure the Security and Compliance (Privacy Policy, GDPR) of the platform.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Perform a weekly reporting for head of finance community
BUILD
• Roadmap aligned with Internal Control, Finance and businesses, and ensure the execution in line with the application
• Lead the planning, budget, execution, and successful delivery of complex projects.
• Collaborate with business process owners and other stakeholders to ensure ongoing alignment with strategy during execution.
• Maintain a hands-on approach to software architecture, design, and coding.
• Ensure and supervise the product development lifecycle, encompassing requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance aligned with the editor.
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in technology, integrating them into the design and development of new systems and features.
• Define roadmap to ensure scalability, steady level of performance and sustainability of the solution
Requirements
Educational background
• Business school graduated
• Proven track record of maintaining a (set of) application(s) around travel and expenses processes (performance, security, functional, availability) and internal control processes
• Complete knowledge of IT processes (incident, problem and change management)
• Several experiences in managing application teams.
• Knowledge of Service Now

• Strong Knowledge of SAP CONCUR Expenses, Request, Invoice and Travel modules
