Cyber Security Application Consultant
About this position
Responsibilities
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Primary focal point in Thailand for ABB’s Cyber Security technology portfolio and liaise with Hub (Regional) / Global Digital team for any technical / product / commercial support needs.
• Having a deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, products and services offered by ABB, including knowledge of firewall systems, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, encryption methods, identifying and accessing management solutions.
• Build understanding on clients' cybersecurity needs, understanding the client's existing security infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities, and determining the level of protection required.
• Collaborating closely with technical teams within ABB ensuring that client requirements are effectively communicated and implemented, this may involve coordinating product demonstrations, providing technical support during the sales process.
• Keeping accurate records of sales activities, client interactions and sales forecasts is essential, generating reports for management on sales performance, market trends and competitive intelligence.
• Designing customized digital cyber solutions tailored to each client's unique needs and challenges. Demonstrating solid industry domain knowledge relating the value of cyber and ABB's digital portfolio.
• Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
• Responsible for overall operational budget for Hub Cyber security along with other Cyber security functional members in team.
Requirements
Qualifications for the role:
• Good understanding of local TH cyber security regulations and laws and cyber security solutions ecosystem.
• About 10 Years Experience on pre sales / Sales support on Cyber Security related requirement for energy industries customers.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or Computer Science or Cyber Security or relevant experience.
• Experience in enterprise sized organization being hands-on selling early release software solutions. Previous experience in delivering quota through software sales / cyber security consulting.
• Preferred to be well conversed with well-known cyber security standards and frameworks like IEC 62443/ NIST.
• Understanding of cyber security tools like SIEM, anomaly detection, IDS/IPS, etc will be plus. Understanding of customer needs in cyber security in industry vertical applications. Building and leading a cross-functional pursuit team. Understanding of PaaS and SaaS commercial models.
