Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute small, medium-size and/or complex to large projects within Local Division Emerging Markets, covering Indonesia and Philippines. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and targets. You will also lead a team and support the oversight of team development and process improvement to continually increase the effectiveness of project execution, to deliver the project as expected KPIs.
• Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing project hand-over, execution planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project performance requirement, safely, on budget, on quality and within ABB’s governance and integrity policies.
• Ensuring that the project/portfolio consistently applies contract and claims management in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreement and supports Procurement and Logistics in supplier negotiations, claims, and project changes.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
• Builds and maintains strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction while delivering sustainable and profitable projects.

Requirements

• Engineering degree/technical degree with project management certificate (PMP)
• Have over 12 years of experience in project management all markets, with a focus on electrical and automation projects, including at least 5 years in team management.
• Have collaborative, solution-oriented approach, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess advanced knowledge of project planning tools such as Primavera, MS Project, and SAP.
• Passionate about team management, negotiation, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership.
• Comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing.
