About this position

This position reports to the Engineering Manager and offers the opportunity to develop and enhance software components for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Pulp & Paper solution, with a focus on implementation in Pulp & Paper.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be mainly accountable for:
• Performing a variety of software engineering tasks in the assigned area of software development.
• Creating highly structured and maintainable code and deliverables with right amount of documentation.
• Embracing software architecture and design patterns in development to achieve better software metrics across software modularity such as coupling and cohesiveness.
• Managing customer project meetings and responding to customer issues.

Requirements

Qualifications For The Role:
• Bachelors degree Computer Science or similar with relevant experience of 3-5 years.
• This position is applicable for local Indonesian candidates only.
• The candidate should have good hands-on experience of C#, .Net, Oracle PL/SQL, SAP BO, reporting tools etc.
• Knowledge of any of the following will be beneficial - C/C++; OPC (DA, HDA, UA); PLC/DCS and other OT interfaces.
• Preferred candidates should have hands-on experience with Pulp & Paper plants and knowledge of MES Pulp & Paper processes.
• Excellent active listening, critical thinking and analytical skills.
