Plant Manager, GM Level (Thailand, Oversea)
About this position
The Plant Manager will contribute to the formulation and execution of the company's overall operations strategy, overseeing various departments and ensuring operational plans and budgets are implemented effectively.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategy Development: Contribute to the formulation of the overall operations strategy for the company and participate in corporate decision-making continuously.
• Resource Management: Implement plans and budgets for the operations function, ensuring sufficient resources to achieve agreed objectives, including cost, capital control, and productivity.
• Production Oversight: Direct and control production operations to ensure finished products are available on time, meeting customer requirements within agreed cost parameters.
• Engineering Management: Plan, direct, and control the Research & Technology and Engineering of the company's production facilities to achieve output and quality objectives safely within the agreed capital and revenue budgets.
• Team Development: Monitor and develop subordinates to build an effective skill base, ensuring targets can be achieved.
• Compliance: Ensure all activities meet company standards regarding Health, Safety, and other obligations, complying fully with local laws, business requirements, and standards such as ISO9001, ISO14001, IATF16949, and others.
• Interpersonal and Change Management Skills: Possess strong interpersonal skills, effective leadership, motivational qualities, and commercial awareness. The Job Holder must lead numerous initiatives and projects, liaising with personnel from various functions and companies.
Requirements
Skills and Qualification Requirements:
Education:
• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Manufacturing Management Expertise: Special skill/knowledge in manufacturing management.
Experience and Skills:
• Experience: Over 20 years of working experience in an automotive plant, with at least 5 years in a top managerial role.
